A sea breeze blows through reeds at Riverside Park. The Colorado River that winds through the park offers fishing, boating and kayaking for all to enjoy.
Riverside Park offers 100 acres of waterfront views and greenery. In August 2017 the park was closed from damage sustained from hurricane Harvey and was completely rebuilt, reopening in July of 2020.

Bay City’s Riverside Park has faced challenges over the years, but its next one might come during the city’s budget process — with some talking about leasing the park.
There’s been no formal action from the city, and no closed session talks on the possibility, but it has been raised.
