Ferdinand resigns county EDC post; accepts position with Natchitoches Community Alliance

Matagorda County EDC Executive Director Michael Ferdinand resigned his post with the organization Jan. 29 to accept a position as executive director of the Natchitoches Community Alliance (NCA).

“I want to take a moment to offer my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to work for the Matagorda County Economic Development Corporation,” Ferdinand said following the Jan. 29 meeting of the EDC. “This was a very difficult decision for me and my family, but I’ve accepted an economic development position with another community. I look forward to helping MCEDC through the transition to your new leader and continuing to support Matagorda County in any way that I can in the future.”
