State Rep. Weber to visit Bay City
By Heather Menzies
Bay City Tribune
Published April 1, 2009
State Representative Randy Weber will make his first stop on his tour of the district at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at the VFW Post 2438 hall in Bay City.
Matagorda County residents will have a chance to hear Weber's "mid-term" legislative update, participate in a question-and-answer session and meet Weber and his staff.
The town hall meeting will focus on legislative issues that affect Matagorda County and District 29.
"At this point (Weber) is about 70 days into his first term and it will be a good chance for him to meet with his constituents and get a feel for how well he is representing the district," said Mitch Thames, Bay City Chamber of Commerce president.
Weber and his staff will make two other appearances that day at the public libraries in Alvin and Pearland.
The VFW Hall is located at 1672 Highway 60 North.
