Funeral services for Lavada Sneed, 65, of Bay City, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Mother Zion Bapt. Church, Bay City, with the Rev. Murray Martin, Pastor and the Brother Elliott Moore, eulogist. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
She was born in Bay City, Texas, October 12, 1944, to Walter Roberson and Estella Davis Roberson, and passed away January 14, 2010, in Bay City, Texas.
Survivors include: five daughters, Angela Dale and Jodi Davis, both of Houston, Lavada Sneed of Los Angeles, California, Devorria Ross of Compton, California, and Kanica ONeal of Bay City; and two sons, Anthony Brown of Macy, Nebraska, and Carlton Durgan of Palacios. Also 19 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bettie Smith of Bay City, Eula Fisher of Houston, and Jean Stone of Henderson. Also an enormous host of other relatives and friends.
