The Bay City Civic Center was packed Thursday afternoon as vendors showed off their goods and services in Bay City Chamber of Commerce and Agricultures 16th Annual Business-to-Business Expo.
Forty vendors rounded-out the list of 2009 participants offering a wide variety of products.
Many vendors offered browsers an interactive experience to draw their attention.
Bethany Home Health created an all-American themed booth offering baseball, via the Nintendo Wii, hotdogs, which were free to those who stopped by for information on their service, and apple pie.
Attendees crowded around their booth to try their hand at the Wii baseball but left with some information on home healthcare that may serve them well at some point in their future.
The Legacy Campus assisted living turned their booth space into a renaissance period wonderland complete with a king, a princess, knights and fair maidens.
To top off their booth they gave away chicken legs and beverages along with information for elderly and handicapped citizens who may benefit from the care they offer.
Matagorda Regional Medical Center was on hand demonstrating some of the latest technology they use to treat patients.
Those who attended the event were able to talk with a radiologist and see first-hand some of the latest breakthroughs in treatment programs for the hospital.
Throughout the event businesses hosted door prize drawings and gave away a variety of trinkets to gain customers from the event.
