Business Expo offers chance to network

The Bay City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture's 15th Annual Business-to-Business Expo will include more than 40 local businesses demonstrating their products and services for the public from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6.

The expo is free to the public and will include some great promotional gifts from vendors.

"One of the highlights of the expo every year are the great door prizes that the vendors donate," said Irene Bishop, Bay City Chamber of Commerce vice president.

In previous years, businesses have donates gift baskets, television sets, a free weekend stay at a beach house, gift certificates and other great prizes.

Refreshments will be provided for the public by the Matagorda County Hospital District.

To date, the complete list of vendors are: A Special Touch, Ad Vantage Specialties, All Star Real Estate, Ariel Enterprises, Bay City Tribune, Bay Ranch Apartments, Bay Villa, Bill Bell Realty, Capital Farm Credit, Coldwell Banker Ward Real Estate, First State Bank of Louise, Fluor, Houston Hospice of El Campo, Jack Hollister Insurance Agency, Legacy Assisted and Independent Living, Matagorda County Farm Bureau, Matagorda County Hospital District, Matagorda House Healthcare Center, Matagorda Nursing and Rehabilitation, More Mail Services, Nationwide Insurance, Professional Real Estate, Promotions Unlimited, Prosperity Bank, Rio Colorado Golf Course, Riverway Apartments, Simply Sold Cornerstone Real Estate, South Texas Medical Clinics, STPNOC, Sweeny Community Hospital, Texas Coastal Living Properties, Texas Home Health, Travel World, United Country-Property Connections, Wells Fargo Bank, Workforce Solutions, YP One, A-MED Community Hospice, Peltier Builders, ABBA Health Plans, The Peaceful Pelican, KKHA 92.5 and Wharton County Junior College.

Booth space fees are $100 for chamber members, $130 for non-chamber members and $30 for restaurants.
