Police make 127 drug-related arrests

The Bay City Police Department worked drug interdiction throughout the city from Dec. 2 to Dec. 23.
During this time 127 arrests were made. Several outstanding arrest warrants also were served.
Arrests ranged from Public Intoxication to Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
Many illegal drugs, including 9.2 oz of crack cocaine, 4 oz. powder cocaine, 9.5 oz. marijuana and 474.5 controlled substance tablets, were taken off the street.
During one arrest over $1,800 dollars was seized.
The police department will continue this type of enforcement throughout the upcoming year.
