Helen T. Gordon

Funeral services for Helen T. Gordon, 82, of Blessing, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Mother Zion Baptist Church, Bay City, with the Rev. Murray Martin, pastor, and the Rev. Ben Hadden, eulogist. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, and from 5 until 7 p.m. at Free Zion Baptist Church, Blessing, Texas.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 61 years, Ira Gordon, Jr. of Blessing, and two children, Ira Gordon, III (and Barbara), and Gail Byrd (and Greg). Also four grandchildren, Alisa, Ira IV Rocky Carol and Greg, Jr., and one great-granddaughter, Azaria. Also two sisters-in-law, Estella Harris and Alena Robinson. Also a host of other relatives and friends.
