Georgie Marie Hickl Hundl
Georgie Marie Hickl Hundl, 81, of Diamondhead, MS passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Gulfport, MS. She grew up in El Maton, TX and graduated from Tidehaven High School.
Georgie was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian, MS. She was a member of the Church Choir, she served as a Lector and a Eucharistic Minister. She was the President of the South MS Curia of the Legion of Mary and a past member of the Magnificat of Diamondhead. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an amazing cook and had a beautiful voice. She was strongly devoted to the Lord and would bring all six kids to church every week. She loved singing in the choir and volunteering her time to the church and to others. She truly was one of a kind and we will miss her dearly but we know she is with the Lord now.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Hundl; son, Paul Gregory Hundl; and parents, John and Albina Hickl Jr.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael Hundl and his wife Susan, and Robert Hundl, all of Corpus Christi, TX; three daughters, Karen Rodriguez of Converse, TX, Charlotte Hillin and her husband Rick of Flour Bluff, TX and Glenda Kraker and her husband Tom of Zeeland, Ml; fourteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian, MS with the Rosary from 9:30 a.m. until the visitation, from 9:45 a.m. until 11 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at Delisle Cemetery in Delisle, MS.
