PAF sets Breakfast with Stars program

The Palacios Area Fund (PAF) has announced Breakfast with the Stars, a family and children meet and greet celebration featuring our favorite cartoon characters.

The high-energy event is scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 30 at the Christian Life Center (CLC), 200 Welch St. in Palacios. Children of all ages will have the opportunity to enjoy a great meal while dining, taking photos and enjoying the company of friends, family and our favorite characters.

About 15 cartoon characters will be set up in photo stations sponsored by local businesses and organizations. Following a breakfast meal and introduction, children and parents can visit the various characters to engage in conversations while parents and friends take pictures.

The two-hour program will allow plenty of time for children to visit all their favorite characters and to make some magical memories.

Sponsors include Dragon Welding, El Campo Memorial Hospital, First Financial Bank, KJZT # 126, Prosperity Bank, The Point, Tommy’s Outboard Services, TranSport Boats, Palacios Community Medical Center and Co. Commissioner James Gibson, Pct. 3.

Tickets are $10.00, including breakfast, and can be purchased from either Palacios Area Fund or Hair Gallery at 454 Main St. in Palacios. Tickets can also be purchased on site the day of the event. Businesses interested in sponsoring one of the characters can call Sally Kurtz at 361-920-3862.

For the past 37 years, the Palacios Area Fund, a community focused 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has offered grants and financial support to Palacios and its citizens through worthy programs including the PAF College Scholarship Program and the well-known Operation Santa Claus. Over the years, many of the most successful social programs in Palacios have had their roots in the Palacios Area Fund.
