Fundraiser set for Tamira Stone
The sudden loss of 33-year-old Tamira Jean Stone continues to be under investigation according to the Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office.
Funeral services have been arranged with Green’s Mortuary in Bay City, however the date and time are still pending.
Stone’s family has planned a bake sale fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Jan.12 at Wal-Mart in Bay City to help financially assist them with funeral-related expenses.
“Those who would like to help out can do so by letting others know about the bake sale and coming to purchase something on that day to help the family during this difficult time,” said Stone’s aunt Josie Moore. “Any amount, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will be used for her funeral and other expenses.
“The family is so grateful to everyone who has shown concern and kindness so far, we thank you all for your generosity, thoughts and prayers.”
A single mother, Stone leaves behind three small children.
