Estlinbaum files for Bay City mayor’s race
Julie Estlinbaum announced that she will seek the office of Mayor of Bay City in the city’s May 4, 2019 municipal election.
“I am excited about starting my campaign for Mayor of Bay City. I have the commitment, experience and leadership skills to serve the citizens of Bay City. I am focused on working constructively with City Council, department heads, city employees and other local officials, both on the City and County level, to continue to move Bay City forward.
“I know we can accomplish our goals when we are all working together, listening to each other’s ideas and respecting each other, even in times of disagreement.”
Estlinbaum has been a City Council member since June 2012 and has developed a reputation for combining confident leadership with strong consensus building skills.
“My goals now are similar to my goals that I had when I first ran for City Council in 2012. I want to continue to create a Bay City that encourages businesses to grow and prosper, that allows our youth to thrive and that gives every citizen the chance to enjoy the best quality of life possible.”
