Palacios remains one game back

 

Boling moved to 5-0 in District 24-3A play with a 67-40 victory over Palacios Tuesday, Jan. 8. The loss dropped Palacios to 4-2 in district play, still in second place in district just ahead of Hitchcock and Tidehaven.

Boling jumped out to a 14-9 first quarter lead and pushed that lead out to 32-17 at the halftime break. Boling continued to pad its lead in the third quarter outscoring Palacios 17-13 to take a 49-30 lead heading into the final quarter of play. 

Tidehaven moved to 3-2 in district with a 52-49 victory over winless Danbury in Tuesday’s action.

Tidehaven took on Boling and Van Vleck traveled to take on Hitchcock last night. The results from these games were not available at press time. Palacios is open this week.
